As a musician my greatest concern has always been to find and establish an authentic connection with my self which could give me the liberty to express who I really am. Growing up in very different countries across 5 continents has definitely been a life-changing & identity questioning experience which I feel lucky to have been blessed with. One of the benefits of such a multicultural upbringing has been learning to think in several languages from an early age, sometimes simultaneously, to the point where it became second nature.

I feel this explains my desire to explore contrasting musical idioms and not confine myself to any particular perspective. Unconsciously, the need for versatility has come to define my playing and choice of repertoire and I have learned tremendously from encounters with musicians and ensembles in genres ranging from Jazz, Flamenco, Cuban, Brazilian, Tango, Persian, Folklore and Pop music.
